Accommodation
Fancy Free Fly Fishing Retreat self catering cottages have fully fitted kitchens and are supplied with linen. The camp has a lovely picnic spot and bomas for dining and entertaining.
The cottages have a TV with DStv / satellite channels, a fireplace and braai facilities.
Invicta Cottage
The cottage, which is situated close to the water’s edge, sleeps four in two cosy bedrooms furnished with a double bed and twin beds or two double beds. Both rooms have an en-suite bathroom. There is a well equipped kitchen, a lounge and dining area,
indoor fireplace and a private outdoor boma with braai facilities. DStv is provided.

Marabou Cottage

This spacious retreat is the largest of our units. Sleeping six comfortably, it is comprised of a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a second double bedroom, a single room with two single beds and a separate bathroom. There is a log fireplace, DStv
(bring your own decoder and smart card) in the lounge / dining area and a bar area. The kitchen is fully equipped and braai facilities are provided in the private boma.

Trout & Bass Fishing
Fancy Free plays host to no less than 7 well stocked trout and 3 bass dams and we offer excellent fly fishing all year round. Target trout ranging from 1kg to 3kg in the winter and bass up to 2 kg in the summer. Well appointed jetties and easily accessible shorelines offer comfortable, quality fly fishing to both experienced and novice fly fishermen.
• Our own on-site hatchery ensures that our dams are always stocked with quality fish.
• We offer guided fishing and expert advice to anglers in the need of assistance.
• Float tubing is allowed on all our dams.
Other Activities
Fancy Free offers something to do for the whole family. Apart from fishing which is our main attraction we also offer activities like bird watching, mountain biking, walking and relaxing by the swimming pool. We also offer a play area and a jungle gym for the kids.
Directions
Take the N1 to Witbank then on to Belfast. Continue along the N4, passing three garages (Milly’s One-Stop, Machadadorp Shell and Horse Shoe Garage). Drive for approximately 300m, then turn left onto the dirt road indicating Dullstroom. Carry on with thedirt road for about 5km. On your right you will see a bricked wall entrance with a brown gate with FANCY FREE on it. Slide open the gate and drive through. (Please close gate after entering). Proceed on this road and keep left to 2nd brown gate – proceedthrough the gate and park at undercover parking.
