Each of our eight en-suite guest suites, are decorated with that special personal touch, most with a unique view over the Tsitskikamma mountain ranges. The suites are spacious and well equipped for the perfect relaxing holiday.   We offer guests a wonderful variety for Breakfast, from continental, to Eggs Benedict, what is a holiday without the best, served on the covered patio overlooking the sprawling gardens, or in the breakfast room next to the fireplace in winter.

Loerie

Sunbird

Our Sunbird suite which has a queen size bed and large bathroom gets beautiful sunshine, with the most spectacular views over the mountains. Our Sunbird suite is one of two suites that comprises of the family unit, perfect for the family but can be taken on its own too!

Dove

Our superior suite with garden and mountain views.  This suite offers privacy and comfort to our guest with a kingsize bed as well as a single sleeper couch, en-suite bathroom with a separate bath and shower.  

Oriole

One of our superior kingsize bed suites offering a large oval bath in the bathroom and separate shower. A very spacious suite, overlooking the swimming pool area.

Starling

A large standard suite with a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom with combined shower and bath. This suite has beautiful garden and mountain views.

Weaver

A standard suite with double bed and en-suite combined shower and bath. This suite beautiful views of the pool and mountains.  


Swallow

One of our standard twin bed suites which can be turned into a kingsize bed. This unit can be used as a family unit with Sunbird, with ample enough room for families. This suite has a bath and a separate shower as well as lovely views of the pool and mountains.


Canary

Canary, a standard twin suite which can be turned into a kingsize bed, overlooking the gardens and mountains. The suite offers a en-suite bathroom with combined shower and bath.

Breakfast

Delicious breakfast served on the patio overlooking sprawling gardens or in the spacious breakfast room.

Restaurant

Tarn Country House offers a wonderful venue for weddings, anniversaries, baby showers or birthday parties.   Tarn Country House offers a delicious relaxed dining menu suited for everyone, for breakfasts and dinners.  Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast or a sumptuous full English breakfast.We cater to all dietary requirements. Our guests can enjoy a gourmet style menu on the patio overlooking the beautiful gardens or in the restaurant next to the fireplace. Dinner is a set three course menu and includes something suited to our younger guests.  

We have a fully licensed bar where you can enjoy a pre dinner drink or enjoy sundowners at the pool.  Tarn Country House understands that food is meant to be an experience and we pride ourselves in offering not only wonderful food, but the atmosphere and service that makes a meal an unforgettable time.

Weddings

We are able to host intimate weddings for up to 30 guests inside our restaurant and offer total exclusivity with accommodation included for 16 guests.   For a wedding of up to 100 guests we recommend our outdoor area under a Stretch tent or Marquee, with romantic and magical views over the majestic Tsitsikamma mountain range.  We really believe this is the ideal setting for your perfect day.   We combine culinary expertise and service with our luxurious surroundings to ensure that your day is as unique as you are.
